Meet Mary Davies, M.S., OTR/L
Mary is passionate about supporting children in their ability to participate in play, learning, and other activities which are important to each child and family. She enjoys collaborating with caregivers to empower their participation in the therapy process while navigating the areas that are difficult for the child and family.
In addition to Psychology and Occupational Therapy degrees, Mary brings 20 years of occupational therapy experience from a variety of pediatric settings including school-based as well as 6 years of virtual education OT services. She is trained through Powerfully You and Kelly Mahler’s approach to Interoception to support self-regulation skills and continually builds her toolkit of resources from which to inform her practice. Mary is particularly enthusiastic about supporting children with needs in self-regulation, sensory processing, Primitive Reflex Integration, and visual, fine motor and gross motor coordination needs to support handwriting/ prewriting skills.
Mary is licensed in Ohio and Michigan and is able to support children in Michigan via telehealth services.
